The Fasco SCWC1013FVFC, 3" x .113, fine thread, Versa drive Scrail is designed for use in most 15 degree wire coil framing nailers and 15 degree coil pallet nailers. Scrails are made in accordance with the requirements of ASTM F1667. These fasteners feature a corrosion-resistant, FasCoat finish, which is capable of withstanding more than 2,000 hours in a salt spray test according to ASTM B117.
These 15-degree, wire coil Scrails combine the versatility of a conventional nail with the holding power of a screw. Unlike conventional nails, however, these fasteners can be adjusted and removed after placement. Thanks to an aggressive thread design, Scrails provide more holding power than a conventional screw. The SCWC1013FVFC Scrails are suitable for decking, framing, pallet building and other heavy-duty applications.
