The Simpson Strong-Tie PDPAWL Powder-Driven Pin with 1” Washer PDPAWL-287 0.157” x 2-7/8” ” is the powder-actuated fastener to reach for on your next masonry project. This pin is quality made to fasten building materials to concrete, steel, and CMU. Ideal for direct fastening jobs, it’s comprised of a hardened-steel PDPA pin with a 1” washer that provides additional bearing surface for enhanced upload resistance. Ideal for corrosive environments, PDPAWL-MG models are mechanically galvanized for additional corrosion protection. Common applications include light-frame and cold-formed steel construction.

The PDPAWL is highly compatible as it pairs with Simpson Strong-Tie powder-actuated tool systems as well as other general purpose tools. It pairs perfectly with the following Strong-Tie tools: PTP-27L, PT-27, PT-22A, PT-22HA. Installers should note that the minimum effective shank length must equal or exceed the sum of the thickness of the attached material and the minimum embedment depth. For added confidence it’s code listed per ICC-ES ESR-2138, Florida FL 15730 and LA RR25469. The PDPAWL comes as a box quantity of 100. Buy it today from Nail Gun Depot.
