The Simpson Strong-Tie PINWP Powder-Actuated Plastic-Washered Pin for Insulation Board PINWP-175W 0.145” x 1-3/4” is perfectly designed to fasten rigid insulation board to buildings. Use this pin to fasten fixtures into concrete and steel. The PINWP consists of a 0.300”-headed fastener with a pre-mounted 1-3/8” flat plastic washer. It’s highly compatible, made for use with Simpson Strong-Tie powder-actuated tools and is compatible with many competitive tools. Pair it with the Strong-Tie PTP-27L, PT-27, PT-22A, and PT-22HA. The PINWP is code listed per ICC-ES ESR-2138. Installers should note, the minimum effective shank length must equal or exceed the combined thickness of the attached material and the minimum embedment depth.
