A poorly selected anchor can quickly erode under wet conditions. But not the Simpson Strong-Tie Stainless Steel Titen HD Heavy Duty THD50500H4SS 1/2” x 5”! For your external concrete and masonry jobs, reach for the 304 stainless steel mechanical anchor. Not only is the Titen HD stainless steel THD50500H4SS corrosion resistant outdoors and in multiple environments, but its serrated threads undercut the concrete giving it additional holding power.

Efficient installation is achieved with a 1/2” drill bit and impact wrench or hand tool. Type 300 series stainless steel screw anchors have different corrosion resistant properties for different environments. While Type 316 is the optimal choice for applications in corrosive environments such as salt water, or when chemical solutions are present, type 304 is a cost effective solution for less extreme, damp, moist or wet applications. 20 screws come in a box. Tested per ACI355.2, AC193 and AC106. Meets codes IAPMO UES ER-493 for concrete and ICC-ES-ESR-1056 for masonry. Order a box today!
