Dual screens on the Type 96-M level (top and side) allow for viewing from any angle, and displays can be illuminated for use in low-light conditions. Other features include instant measurement conversion to any scale (rise & run to degrees, degrees to percent, etc.), audible tones for sight-free use, one-button calibration and a carrying case. Requires two AA batteries.
