Made by Simpson Strong-Tie, the DWF158PS drywall screw is ideal for drywall to cold-formed-steel applications. The DWF Series screw measures #6 x 1-5/8" and features a #2 Phillips drive, bugle head, and a fine thread. The drywall fastener is designed for use in auto-feed Quik Drive systems, particularly the QuikDrive PRO200 Drywall and PROSDD Multi-Purpose System.
This light-steel screw has a gray phosphate coating and is plastic-collated for greater efficiency when fastening. It is ASTM C1002-04 Type S compliant and designed for steel thicknesses of 33, 27 and 18 mil/20, 22, and 25 gauge.
