PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This Strong-Drive PPSD series screw is compatible with the PROS Multi-Purpose, PRO250 Subfloor, and PRO200 Drywall kits. Made by Simpson Strong-tie, the sheathing screw is sized #8 x 1-15/16" with a fine thread and #3 square drive. A flat head and nibs on this structural screw allow for easier countersinking.

Other features on the sheathing screw (Item #PPSD11516S0818) include a pilot point and yellow-zinc coating. PPSD sheathing screws are excellent for attaching subflooring and sheathing to cold-formed steel. The maximum recommended thickness for the fastener is 54 mil/16 ga. This screw is ASTM C1513 compliant, and meets the requirements of ICC-ES ESR-3006, and AISI S213-07.
