The Aerosmith GT112ISBB 1-1/2” InsulPin with Washer for Rigid Insulation to Steel makes installing insulation into LGS (light-gauge steel) or CFS (cold formed steel) simpler and faster. Compatible with the battery and gas-powered GT38LI-EXIF and GT60LI-EXIF fastening tools, InsulPins feature a plastic anchor and washer with a 60mm diameter head. The washer comes preloaded with a helical pin. InsulPin fasteners now feature application color coding; gray pin washers for light gauge steel applications (IS models) and white for concrete applications (IC models). After nailing the washer, the integrated cap is manually flipped shut to help provide maximum thermal break. Unlike with other brands, the Aerosmith insulation washers feature an open stem on the tip that allows the pin to be driven without splitting or cracking the washer.

Compatible Tools: Aerosmith GT38LI-EXIF, GT60LI-EXIF.

Suitable Applications: Rigid Insulation to Light-gauge steel & Cold formed steel.
