The B18-19, 3/4" leg, 18 gauge, plastic composite brad nail is designed for use in the Spotnails CB1819C. Manufactured with a blend of polymer resin and fiberglass, these composite brad nails are 100% steel and metal free. The B18-19 brads can be sanded, shaped, and cut without damage to router bits, cutting blades, or sanding belts. These polymer brad nails offer superior holding power up to twice as strong when compared against similar size steel nails, and are perfect for use with woodworking adhesives, to provide a temporary hold until the adhesive cures. Plastic composite brads are also ideal for use with CNC machines for cutting, drilling, and machining a variety of materials. 

The B18-19 brad nails provide long-term resistance to chemicals, sunlight and moisture. Composite fasteners eliminate the drudgery of removing problematic fasteners and marring wood surfaces. These 18 gauge plastic brad nails have zero adverse effect on final product appearance and performance. Our composite fasteners reduce curing time workability, eliminate the need for clamping tools and screws, can be painted and stained, and are guaranteed not to rust or corrode. These B18-19 composite brad nails also flash bond with wood fibers. Composite fasteners save capital investment dollars by reducing production downtime, and additional wear on sanding and cutting equipment.

These brads are ideal for CNC fixturing, cabinets, furniture, drawers, molding, picture frames, decorative trim, window components, wood boat strips and planks. These plastic composite fasteners are comparable with competitive products from Raptor, Omer and Red Hawk. Fastener lengths over 3/4” not recommended for hardwoods - see chart above for details.
