Dewalt packs a punch with its DCS588X1 FLEXVOLT 60V MAX 7-1/4" circular saw with brake kit. Revolutionary 60V FLEXVOLT technology is the backbone of the Dewalt DCS588X1. Offering the best of both worlds, the wood-cutting Dewalt FLEXVOLT brushless circular saw delivers the flexibility of cordless with the power and cutting capacity of corded saws. With an RPM of 5,800, this DCS588X1 saw has some serious cutting potential. Cutting at a depth of 2-9/16" at 90 degrees, the DCS588X1 circular saw delivers on runtime, making up to 339 cuts per charge in 2" by 4" SPF lumber. To protect the DCS588X1 from extra wear and tear, as well as the user, it uses an electronic brake which shuts down the blade after the trigger is released. Additional features of this Dewalt FLEXVOLT 15-amp equivalent saw include a bevel capacity of 57 degrees plus bevel stops, a blade diameter of 7-1/4", and is rear-pivoting.
