The Porta-Nails 418A Portamatic Evolution 18 gauge tongue and groove wood flooring nailer drives 1" to 1-3/4" leg 18 gauge L shaped flooring nails. Includes one-year manufacturer's warranty. Comes complete with non-marring rubber mallet. The 418A is an extremely versatile tool. It can handle 3/8" to 5/8" solid hardwood, 15mm bamboo and 1/2" to 3/4" engineered flooring. Thinner 18 gauge flooring nails reduce the risk of splitting or dimpling exotic hardwoods. To prevent surface damage, this flooring nailer does not make contact with the top edge of flooring. A cam operated height adjustment system allows for quick and precise nail placement. No need for extra shims or pads. The 418A is easy to maintain and also features new air valve technology for low air consumption and instant response. A compact design makes installing end walls even easier.
