Simpson Strong-Tie PT-22A General Purpose Tool

The powder-actuated Simpson Strong-Tie PT-22A-RB General-Purpose Tool fires with ultimate precision. Contractors love the continuous use of this single shot tool being reliable and requiring minimal maintenance. This trigger-activated tool has the ability to fire a variety of fastener types. Use it with .300” or 8mm-headed fasteners, or 1/4”-20 threaded studs. Fastener length is 3-inches maximum.

The PT-22A is compatible with numerous Strong-Tie pins including PDPA, PDPAWL, PDPAT, PCLDPA, PECLDPA, PTRHA, PINW, PINWP, PHBC, PCC, PBXDP and PKP. It requires 0.22 caliber “A” crimp single-shot loads, and pairs perfectly with the Strong-Tie P22AC loads. (This tool is not for use with 0.22-caliber straight wall loads.)
