With its patent-pending Torque Reduction Channel, The Simpson Strong-Tie Titen Turbo TNTW18234TF 3/16” x 2-3/4” Flat Head Concrete and Masonry Screw Anchor zooms past the competition in its ability to decrease torque. You’ll see less binding, snapping, and stripping. You’ll experience better reliability because the unique, asymmetrical threading traps dust. Because the thread action isn’t blocked and the tension drops, and durability is increased. Another notable feature of this mechanical anchor is the serrated screw point. This allows for an easier start of fastening wood to concrete.
The Titen Turbo TNTW18234TF is constructed of carbon steel for endurance, and a zinc finish with ceramic coating for corrosion resistance. The Simpson Strong-Tie Titen Turbo TNTW18234TF is easy to install with an impact driver or cordless drill. This white, 6-Lobe, countersunk, Flat Head screw comes in a box of 100. A T25 6-Lobe bit is included. Use indoors only on applications such as thresholds, window frames, conduits and more. 5/32” Drill Bit diameter for installation. Code listed in accordance with ICC-ES AC193 and ICC-ES AC106.
