This Max Li-Ion cordless rebar tying tool, item #RB218, uses .8mm wire ties for wire mesh x wire mesh up to #3 x #3 rebar. Includes one-year manufacturer's warranty. The RB218 offers 5X faster tie time over manual tying. Ties are completed in less than 1 second with consistent strength. This Max rebar tier features a compact body, with lithium ion battery that gets 3,000 ties per charge. A brushless twisting motor offers improved efficiency and durability, increasing ties per by charge by 35%. Other features include an auto shutoff, new blowout channels, one hand operation, belt hook, and an enclosed design that better protects against dust and debris entering the motor. The Max RB218 is designed for use in commercial building, road and bridge construction, foundations, precast plants, radiant heating tubes and electrical conduits. The RB218 is a direct replacement for the RB217.
