The Simpson Strong-Tie SDS-Plus Shank MDPL01504 Drill Bit 5/32” x 4-1/4” with 2-cutter head offers contractor-grade quality for use in commercial construction. The SDS-plus shank has many enhanced features including its chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel alloy body to improve the ease of use, hammering quality and overall efficiency. Installers appreciate the centering tip for easy spot drilling, along with the uniformly brazed carbide inserts resulting in extended bit life.

This bit comes heat-treated with a shot-peened finish to increase surface hardness, while reducing drill bit wear and improving its bending resistance. It’s manufactured for efficiency with a chisel-shaped head that easily penetrates material while preventing sticking in concrete and removing dust upon use. Drilling speed is amplified on this bit with a patented, high-volume, multi-flute spiral. This compatible bit fits all current and older SDS-plus rotohammers from AEG, Black & Decker, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi, Hilti, Kango, Makita, Metabo, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Ramset, Red Head, Ryobi and Skil.
