The Simpson Strong-Tie SDS-Plus Hex MDPL01507H-R25 Drill Bit 5/32” x 7” with 2-cutter head offers contractor-grade quality for use in commercial construction. Perfect for professionals, the SDS-plus shank has many enhanced features including its chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel alloy body which improves the ease of use, hammering quality and overall efficiency. Installers benefit from the centering tip for easy spot drilling, and the uniformly brazed carbide inserts which result in extended bit life.

This bit is manufactured for efficiency with a chisel-shaped head that easily penetrates material while preventing sticking in concrete and removing dust upon use. Drilling speed is amplified on this bit with a patented, high-volume, multi-flute spiral. It comes heat-treated with a shot-peened finish to increase surface hardness, while reducing drill bit wear and improving its bending resistance. The SDS-plus shank works with the Titen Installation tool to allow pre-drilling and installation of Titen screws using a rotohammer. (Rotohammer must be in rotation-only mode before driving screws.) This compatible bit fits all current and older SDS-plus rotohammers from AEG, Black & Decker, Bosch, DeWalt, Hitachi, Hilti, Kango, Makita, Metabo, Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Ramset, Red Head, Ryobi and Skil. Conforms to ANSI Standard B212.15. Package includes 25 SDS-Plus Hex Drill Bits.
