The Simpson Strong-Tie SDS-Plus Shank MDPL08718 Drill Bit 7/8” x 18” with 2-cutter head offers contractor-grade quality for use in commercial construction. This compatible bit fits all current and older SDS-plus rotohammers and conforms to ANSI Standard B212.15. Professionals enjoy its enhanced features including its chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel alloy body which improves ease of use, hammering quality and overall efficiency. For added benefit, this quality bit has a centering tip for easy spot drilling, along with uniformly brazed carbide inserts resulting in extended bit life.

This bit comes heat-treated with a shot-peened finish to increase surface hardness, while reducing drill bit wear and improving its bending resistance. It’s manufactured for efficiency with a chisel-shaped head that easily penetrates material while preventing sticking in concrete and removing dust upon use.
