The Strong-Tie Sleeve Anchor should only be used in solid base materials. To install, begin by pre-drilling a hole using a 1/4" wide carbide drill bit in your base. Blow the hole clean with compressed air. (Overhead fixtures do not require a clean hole.) Next, drive the anchor into the sleeve. Finish by tightening the washer and nut into place using the required installation torque. A 3/8” wrench is also recommended for accurate installation.
