Simply use a 1/4” wide carbide drill bit to create a hole in your solid base material. While overhead installations do not require a clean hole, all other fixtures will. Blow the pre-drilled hole clean with compressed air and drive the anchor into the sleeve until the washer and nut are tight against the fixture. Tighten pieces to the required installation torque.
