- Jams and MisfiresMisfires about 40% of the time and is prone to jams. Clearing the jam can be a major pain as the ejection channel does not have a removable cover plate like many other framing nailers do. The last time it jammed I had to take it to a service center to get it cleared.
- Not GoodI was hesitant to purchase this nail gun after reading the previous two negative reviews. I wanted to buy the more expensive Fasco nailer but it was out of stock and the sales rep assured me this was an okay tool and they sell 30 of them a month. So at $475.00 I went ahead and ordered it. The gun consistently misfires or does not fire at all there have been several jams and clearing the jam is a major hassle that requires removal of the carriage. The last jam I could not undo and it’ll have to be sent to a service center for repair.
- Feeding issuesFails to advance nails about 50 percent of the time and also fairly inconsistent drive depth when it does work. Truly disappointed with this 500 dollar door stop.
- not built wellWe had problems with the trigger right from the start. And the exhaust head was getting stuck within the first 100 nails. So we ended up hand nailing over 2,000 nails. When it worked it was nice but it only worked for 1200 of the 3000 nails we used.
