The Strong-Drive WSV Subfloor Screws from Simpson Strong-Tie were developed to fasten subfloor sheathing while providing excellent holding power. These screws have been redesigned with a tip & thread pattern which provide 25% less torque & make driving 20% faster! WSV screws help eliminate floor squeaks by reducing gaps between joist beams and subfloor. These #9 x 2" wood screws (item #WSV2S) have a variable thread design, flat head with nibs, and a yellow zinc coating.

These patented, plastic-collated screws are designed for use in the Quik Drive PRO250G2 Subfloor System and the PRO300S System. The lateral, shear, and withdrawal values for WSV subfloor screws are superior to those of 10d nails. Strong-Drive WSV Subfloor screws are the only fastener dual-evaluated under ICC-ES AC233 and AC120 for wood-frame subfloor fastening.
