The Metabo HPT UC18YSL3Q1YM Li-Ion battery charger (formerly Hitachi) is designed to charge all Metabo HPT and Hitachi 14.4V - 18V and MultiVolt (36V) lithium ion batteries, such as the BSL1830C. The Metabo HPT fast battery charger features a built-in cooling fan to prevent the battery from overheating. The UC18YSL3Q1YM minimizes downtime by charging batteries in 52 minutes or less. Featuring an indicator light, the Metabo UC18YSL3Q1YM charger will communicate what the charging status is. As an added benefit, this charger has a built-in USB port that can charge USB enabled devices. Metabo HPT batteries with a Multiplex Protection circuit communicate with this charger to prevent over-charging; this improves safety and ensures longevity. Charging current on this charger is 8A. This lithium ion charger comes with a manufacturer's one-year warranty.
