PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Strong-Drive SDWC Truss Screw from Simpson Strong-Tie is specially designed for use with the QUIK STIK Rafter and Truss Fastening System. SDWC Truss Screws provide a stud-to-top plate connection, and fasten trusses and rafters to top plates as well. This 6" x 0.155" screw (Item #SDWC15600-KT) features a type-17 point, a T30 6-lobe drive recess, and a cap head for consistent drive and countersinking. The SDWC15600-KT has a clear zinc coating with an orange topcoat for easy inspection.

The Strong-Drive SDWC Truss Screw has been tested in accordance with ICC-ES AC233 (screw) and AC13 (wall assembly and roof-to-wall assembly) for uplift and lateral loads between wall plates and vertical wall framing and between the top plate and the roof rafters or trusses.  The fully threaded shank of SDWC screws creates a secure connection by engaging the entire length of the fastener. Includes (1) matched-tolerance driver bit, BIT30T-2-R2 & (1) metal installation guide tool.
