The PINW is designed for use with Simpson Strong-Tie powder-actuated tools and is compatible with many competitive tools. The PINW pairs well with the Strong-Tie PTP-27L, PT-27, PT-22A, and PT-22HA. It’s also code listed per ICC-ES ESR-2138. Installers should note, the minimum effective shank length must equal or exceed the combined thickness of the attached material and the minimum embedment depth.
